My wife and I throughly enjoyed our cruise on Explora II. The ship itself and staff all exceeded our expectations. Wonderful trip on a beautiful ship.

The food at this resort was not good. All the seafood was overcooked for every guest, not just us. The pool side 'food truck' was worse than a high school snack shack. For a 5 star hotel, we were very disappointed.

My wife and I just got back from our Honeymoon in Croatia and we keep referring to it as the best trip of our lives. A large part of this is because of the work that Gloryvette at Cruise Planners did on the front end for us. The flights were perfect, the hotels were amazing and in the most walkabale and beautiful areas. The only time we wanted for something, was when my wife and I decided to splurge and asked Gloryvette if a larger room upgrade was available. Ask, and you shall receive is the expression and that’s exactly what happened. We’ve never had a more lovely trip where all of our asks were attended to more. My personal favorite part was that all transportation between airports/hotels/ferries etc was planned ahead by Gloryvette and a driver or transport was always there and ready for us. With our busy schedules and known getaway desires, Gloryvette actually took the initiative to find not only the right cruise ship, but the right weekend as well. My husband and I love to travel, and more importantly typically love to go places and go with the flow with little to no planning. We knew when going to Thailand we’d need someone to help us, but really wanted to make sure the trip was personalized to what we enjoy and how we envision it. I have always planned every aspect of our vacations. However, my work schedule prevented me from doing so this time. I turned the planning over to Gloryvette for our multi-country trip. All I can say is why didn't I do this sooner? Gloryvette took care of the airfare, hotel accommodations, and made recommendations for several tours. Everything she recommended turned out to be a perfect experience, the European hotels were lovely and in the perfect locations and the local tour guides so knowledgeable and fun. Gloryvette was extremely helpful throughout our planning process for our non cruise European vacation, including making some late changes to flight plans to accommodate our daughter who moved to a different state between the time we booked and the time we left on vacation. She fully prepared us for any COVID issues, including how our travel insurance would work if it was needed. It was not (no COVID or other issues, thankfully), but the peace of mind from the preparation was well worth it and appreciated. Brian and I were so excited to take a cruise but realized very early how disappointing it was. The Orange Club was a huge waste of money, no one was ever available either by phone or in person. We couldn't find anyone to give us information, all we got was they never heard of the Orange Club. I never got to leave the ship because the only way off was to walk, no wheel chairs were available and the planks were always unstable for Me to use My Walker. Brian did get off board except in Ketchincan where we had a tour scheduled but it was raining pretty bad so we had to cancel the tour, very disappointing, and once again the three long planks were more unstable then usual and longer than the rest. The last stop we were running really late and it was dark when we got into Canada and the town closed down early.
We did see a few shows and I played at the Casino but had a hard time trying to figure their system and when I asked all I could get was it's just like every other cruise casino and when I explained this was my first cruise she rolled her eyes and said she didn't have time to explain. Luckily I found a lady who was on the cruise that was kind enough to help Me.
Service in the restaurants was great!!
All in all we were disappointed!!
We didn't even get a copy of our charges because we were the first group to leave. I would really like a copy so I can verify there were no charges we didn't make.
All in all Brian and I got the idea of a cruise out of Our system and won't be doing another cruise.

Gloryvette is fantastic! She put together a 3.5 week Europe vacation?? that my wife and I had been wanting to do for some time. We chose an Avalon river cruise???? down the Rhine River from Amsterdam to Switzerland and then on to 7 stops in Italy on our own. We gave her some basic ideas of what we wanted to do and she worked with us to work out all the details. We met several times with her as she would put together options and then discuss what we liked and didn't like. She was very good about prioritizing and does her best to keep within your budget, letting things like train tickets wait until closer to departure and providing estimates of costs up front. I'm pretty good about booking my own travel and, like many, was not sure about using a travel agent, but Gloryvette said something that made a lot of sense to me. She said when you have someone who is in the industry you get the benefit of all that current knowledge. And it paid off! Gloryvette is great about getting back to you and she loves to travel and that gives her a lot of experience. She found us a wonderful Vespa Tour of Tuscany with wine tasting that we think was the highlight of our trip. The river cruise was fantastic and we would recommend that to anyone. If you are looking for an excellent agent, look no further. We would highly recommend Gloryvette to anyone. Like others we feel like we have a new travel friend and will be back! I was worried about trying to fit too much in - London, Paris, Venice, Florence, Assissi, and Rome in 14 days - but she worked with me to create the perfect pacing so the trip was enjoyable, especially for my two teenagers! Thank you Gloryvette for planning a wonderful land and cruise vacation for the three of us (The Sistas). We jetted off to lovely Barcelona, Spain where we stayed for several days. We took tours learning the culture and seeing this spectacular city. Then we boarded a beautiful cruise ship called the Norwegian Epic. Fantastic time on the ship and everything was flawless. Gloryvette made my birthday celebration Epic! I can't express the time and effort you dedicated towards us planning this great trip and we really appreciate it immensely!
